Description:
After configuration of Exchange Plugin User the Exchange Plugin is unable to browse the Exchange servers databases.
Symptoms:
The error we see is a pop up message stating; "Message Register Backup error - No storage groups allowed for backup/restore.
Solution/Workaround/Procedure
The user login had been setup but was missing the Local Administrators group permissions. Once Local Administrators group permissions where added to the user configured in the plugin all the databases can be seen when browsing the Exchange Plugin.
Be sure that the following permissions are added to the User being utilized in the Exchange Server Plugin.
1. A valid Domain or local account.
2. A member of the power users group
3. A member of the Domain's backup Operators Account.
4. A member of the Local Backup Operators Group on this Exchange machine.
