Driver failed to locate a period of write inactivity for synchronization (4046521)

Description: Backup of client machine using OFM fails. OFM looked at an open file for the default amount of 160 secs, and the default write inactivity period of 5 secs, but the file is changing too quickly to be backed up with OFM.

Symptoms: “The driver failed to locate a period of write inactivity for synchronization"

Solution/Workaround/Procedure
Default settings are 160 seconds and 5 seconds. You need to increase the time out value to greater than 160 seconds and decrease the write inactivity period to less then 5 seconds (but not lower then 3).
