Backups to Data Domain fail with Permission Denied at cifs_mkdir:396 error message.
Running the mount test from the Host to the repository results in a permission denied error as well.
Connect to the Data Domain device
Run command: cifs share show
This will display the Hosts/Clients by IP that have access to the share on the Data Domain device.
Verify the IPs of all impacted Hosts are listed as having access to the CIFS share on the Data Domain device.If the Host IPs are not listed, have the customer update this information, then the backups should run appropriately.
