Description:
How to find currently running NetVault jobs from the Command Line Interface (CLI). -
Resolution
At certain times it may be necessary to know if jobs are currently running, but access to the GUI is not available or desirable. For example as part of an automated script.
Use the nvreport CLI tool to perform a report that will list the currently running jobs. For example:
[nvhome]/util/nvreport -class "Job History" -format "%JobDefinitionID %Titile %ClientName %runningstatus" -include "%exitstatus = running" -
