Description:
Backup using Open File Manager (OFM) plugin fails and locks up the system when Kaspersky anti-virus is running as the system.
Symptoms:
System locks up when running a backup using the OFM plugin with Kaspersky anti-virus software active. -
Resolution
An incompatibility exist between OFM and Kaspersky causing a deadlock when a backup job run with both active. This will result in the system hanging. To work around this issue, either disable Kaspersky when running backup or use the VSS option (available for Windows2003). If using Windows2000/XP please contact BakBone support. -
