Description:
Quantum ValueLoader will go offline regularly.
Symptoms:
When moving tapes between drives and slots a "Move Media Failed" message is generated, and the drive and slot are marked offline.
Cause of problem:
By default the device template for the Quantum ValueLoader is not included in NetVault installations.

Resolution
Contact BakBone Customer Support to obtain the template. The template is in the form of a standard NetVault package which can be installed on the Server/SmartClient. -
