When backing up a VM you recieve the following error: 'The vm has no disks'
There is something incorrect in the VM snapshot configuration and vRanger is unable to take a snapshot.
VMs that do not have open snapshots may be experiencing this error if they have disks that are independent-persistent mode
Navigate to vSphere client
Open snapshot manager, take a snapshot and 'Delete All'
This will consolidate the snapshots and vRanger is able to perform a backup of the VM
Also, check disk is not independent-persistent mode
