Description:

This article talks about a : Infortrend A12F-G2422 raid device that we are unable to size when creating a SVTL.

Symptoms:
Infortrend A12F-G2422 raid device Firmware Version 348E
When adding the device Netvault reports the size of the LUN to be 0KB

On a LINUX system if we the following when using the "sg_readcap" command

# sg_readcap /dev/sdb -v
read capacity (10) cdb: 25 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
READ CAPACITY (10) indicates device capacity too large
now trying 16 byte cdb variant
