Description:
You can browse the SQL database via the NetVault backup windows selection tab, but backups fail with 'The SQL VDI command failed'.
Symptoms:
Logs show this for each item it tried to backup.

In the options tab of the backup job, change the Backup Method from 'Use Virtual Device Interface (VDI)' to 'Use Named Pipe'.
