Closing Stale SSH connections on vRanger server
Description

Close SSH connections on vRanger server without having to restart the services (vRanger Pro, vRanger API, and vRanger FLR)
Cause

Needing to kill/close a rogue ssh connection to avoid restarting the vRanger services
Resolution

1. Run the following command on host
C:\>netstat -ano | find /I ":22"

Example of command output
TCP 10.X.X.X:1150 10.X.X.X:22 ESTABLISHED 5936
TCP 10.X.X.X:4971 10.X.X.X:22 ESTABLISHED 2020

1. Run the next command to kill/close the process shown in ouput
C:\>taskkill /pid 5936 /pid 2020 /F
Example of command output
SUCCESS: The process with PID 2020 has been terminated.
SUCCESS: The process with PID 5936 has been terminated.
