After a failed upgrade you are receiving the following error during a full install of vRanger > "Error opening File for writing: <install path>\Vizioncore.vRanger.Client.Shell.exe"

Cause
Previous client sourced vRanger services were not correctly uninstalled before the newer client full install was run.

Resolution
Make sure the vRanger services are stopped before you start the Full install.
If after the install the vRanger services will not start or you cannont connect, you should do an uninstall of the software. Once this is done, check to see if the vRanger services are still there. If they are run the following command at the command prompt to delete them:
sc delete <Service Name> or more exactly > SC Delete "service name"
Service name as listed in Services.msc should be in " "
Once the services are deleted, also make sure that all previous installation files from vRanger are deleted. By default they will be located in the following locations:
- (x86) - c:\Program Files\Quest Software\vRanger
- (x86) - c:\Program Files\Vizioncore\vRanger
- (x64) - c:\Program Files(x86)\Quest Software\vRanger
- (x64) - c:\Program Files\(x86)Vizioncore\vRanger
Once the Services and Install directories are deleted you can retry the installation.
