Due to the amount of data being read and written, if antivirus software is scanning any component of NetVault on the NetVault server, it may cause performance problems or even cause the NetVault services to crash. These problems may start even if no changes are known to have taken place.
In trouble shooting these types of problems, you should always uninstall the antivirus software to ensure it is not a factor.
