Description: A data copy job is created to copy backups created from Policy jobs.
Symptoms: Data copy fails with, "No backups for set 'XXXXX' found
Data Copies can not be performed of individual backup jobs when the original job comes from a Policy job. Therefore, only backups that have been performed using a Backup Selection Set can be the target of a Data Copy when set up in a Policy job.
The Data Copy plugin only exists on the NetVault Server, so it would seem that it would not be possible to use this plugin in the creation of a policy backup job. This is not the case. To accomplish this, simply ensure that all Client machines are included in the creation of the Policy job. Create the DataCopy Policy job as described in section 18.2.4 in the NetVault Administrators guide.
