Description Running canned report from GUI fails: does not have EXECUTE_JOB permission'
Symptoms:
Trying to run a report from the GUI, fails with a single line in the log 'Owning user does not have EXECUTE_JOB permission'
User is logged into the O.S. as root, logged into NetVault as Admin
Preform a test by running a canned report.
While in the templates directory:
/usr/netvault/util/nvreport -templatefile mediaclidefault
This ran OK.
To solve GUI permission error. Just stop the NetVault services on the NetVault server. Then go to the NetVault\db directory and rename the users.bin file to users.old.
Then restart the services and it will recreate default and admin properly for you with the correct UID's and you should be alright.
