Althought the correct Domain, Username and Password have been specified in the Exchange "Copy Files" Restore job have been specified, the job fails with an "Unable to log in" error.
A conflict between the Domain, Username and Password credentials specified in the Exchange Restore job can be overridden by those previously stored in NetVault's '..\netvault\config\exchangeserver.cfg'configuration file.
Below are a couple of suggestions to bypass any possible credential conflicts already stored in NetVault with those specified in your Restore job:
1.) On the Exchange server's nvconfigurator > Plugin Options > Exchange Server APM tab, if there are details entered in those Domain/User/Password fields, remove them and click Apply. They could be conflicting with the ones entered as the Restore job is run.
2.) Another thing to try, if the above doesn't help, is:
- Stop the NetVault service on the Exchange server.
- Move the ~netvault\config\exchangeserver.cfg and exchangeserver.cfg.lck out of the NetVault folder or rename them.
- Start the NetVault service and reconfigure the Exchange Server APM
- Run a small Exchange backup.
- Restore the small backup, making sure to enter the same Domain/User/Password as the ones recently entered to configure the plugin.
