Description
Backups of DB2 using the DB2 plugin version 3.0 or earlier can not backup archive logs under the LOGARCHMETH1 DISK path.
The LOGARCHMETH1 to disk configuration option specifies a seperate location for archived logs, other than the default path to log files.

Resolution
The 3.1 release of the DB2 plugin includes support for the LOGARCHMETH1 Configuration Parameter
You can set the LOGARCHMETH1 configuration to DISK:<log_path> to change the location where the Archived Logs files are stored. Alternatively, you can set it to LOGRETAIN to store the Archived Logs in the same location as the Active Logs. This command is equivalent to setting the LOGRETAIN configuration parameter to Recovery mode. The LOGARCHMETH1 parameter is only available with DB2 9.5 and later versions
