vRanger was installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server and Firewall was blocking ports.
On the vRanger physical server,
Customer I turned off the firewall completely on the vRanger server running on Windows 2008 R2, tried again and I could connect. Customer then added a new rule that allowed traffic on port 445 and enabled the firewall again.
He could still browse with smbclient. Things looking good and backup starrted working.
