Description: NetVault fails to allocate shared memory correctly after upgrading to or doing a fresh install of NetVault: Backup 8.2
Symptoms:
NetVault fails to allocate shared memory correctly. This causes jobs to fail, and the NetVault Process Manager to stop. It also may cause NetVault to lose it's "bonetime".
Edit $NVHOME/config/procmgr.cfg and change the following stanza line:
[Process Table:Shared Memoryze]
to
[Process Table:Shared Memory Size]
If you performed an upgrade, then remove the incorrect stanza and ensure that the correct one already exists.
This will allow NetVault to allocate the correct amount of shared memory.
