Specific problem with NetVault: Backup 8.0, APM for VaultDR for Windows Version 2.3 u2 on Windows 2000/2003
Symptoms:
After an upgrade of the VaultDR online APM plugin to 2.3 u2 (2.300.1), any previously existing backups fail with:
Error 2008/03/18 10:42:06 31 Data Plugin nv_kerri Some error description: Failed to get VSNAP Driver backup options
Warning 2008/03/18 10:42:06 31 Data Plugin nv_kerri No VSNAP WI option found, using default of (0) seconds -
Resolution
Recreate the job from scratch using the appropriate backup option.
Explanation:
The new version of the plugin offers three different driver options and the default has changed. The old settings are not inherited from existing jobs and the settings must be updated manually. -
