Error During Replication After Deploying New Virtual Appliances Using Existing Scratch Disks (4044463)

After deploying new Virtual Appliances using existing scratch disks from old Virtual Appliances, Replication fails with error "mkdir: cannot create directory '<<UUID>>': Read-only file system."
 

The scratch disk is attached to both the new Virtual Appliance and the old Virtual Appliance at the same time which will not allow vRanger to write to it.

1. From the vCenter Client, right-click on the old virtual appliance, and select Edit Settings.
2. On the Hardware tab, locate Hard disk 2 and click Remove.
3. Click Ok.
4. Reboot your new virtual appliance.
5. Rerun your replication job.
