After NetVault upgrade the error "This job was defined by too old a plugin" appears (system setti (4044419)

Description:
After an upgrade to 7.4, existing backups fail.

Symptoms:
This job was defined by too old a version old a version of the plugin or contains legacy selections that are no longer supported. Backup jobs should be redefined with the current plugin. Restore jobs require an older version of the plugin to be installed.

This error is occurring because you have upgraded NetVault from a version prior to 7.1.1 to a NetVault version 7.1.2 or greater. In the filesystem apm installed with 7.1.1 you have to option to select "system settings" when creating a backup set. In the filesystem apm that comes with 7.1.2 and greater what used to be called system settings is now called system state.

To fix the problem, modify all jobs created for windows clients. Find all backup selection sets that have System Settings checked. Uncheck System Settings, collapse the tree, then expand the tree. Now you will see System State. Check System State, save the selection set, and resubmit job as necessary.
