Description:
This document describes the additonal steps required to get Snap Mirror To Tape to sucessfully backup to a Netvault virtual library but this applies to physical tape devices as well. This is due to Snap Mirror To Tape writing in 240Kb block size only.
Symptoms:
If the default drive block size of 32 or any non 240Kb block size is used, then you will receive either of the following
errors within the binary log:

Set the tape drive/s block size to 240Kb:
#1 Select the drive/s that you are going to use with snap mirror2tape backups within Netvault Device Management
#2 Right click and select the Configure option
#3 Select the Configuration tab within the 'Edit Drive' dialog box
#4 Enter 240 into the "Media block size (Kb)" field
#5 Click OK button
#6 Click the Save button
Blank the tapes and label (if required) the tapes with the drive now configured to use 240Kb block size.
