Description:
Attempts to restore an Exchange Information Storage group to a Recovery storage group. Getting the error "Restore environment information corrupted".

Delete the RSG, create a new one, and clean out the temp environment in c:\windows\tmp, Or from the specified temp area you are using.

Create a new restore, if this is the last backup set for use to restore, be sure that the Restore Option "Last backup set" is checked.

Meaning if this is the last backup you are restoring from to complete the restore, you will want to be sure to check this option.

If you have further backups to add to this restore, like for instance, If you are restoring a Full and then plan on doing incrementals after this, you will want to create the last Incremental backup in this group with the restore option "Last backup set".
