When attempting a File Level Restore (FLR), it does not mount the archive or bring up FLR dialogue Window.
FLR never mounts; instead, a blank window appears that cannot be closed. If closure of the window is attempted, a .Net stack dump occurs, crashing the application. Disk Redirect error(s) visible in the Windows Application log.
Check whether the current logged-in account is a Domain Administrator account, and has roaming profiles enabled. The Event Log errors may point to a disk redirect operation that failed, and that the FLR attempts to mount over the LAN to the redirected profile location.
The FLR mount must take place in the local profile of the currently logged-in user, so this operation is not supported by vRanger. To resolve, one must either logon with an account that will not redirect the location of the user profile (i.e. Local Administrator), or amend the Group Policy Object that defines the accounts with roaming profiles to exclude the currently logged-in vRanger user.
