Description:
Can NetVault backup Lotus Notes while transaction logging is turned off?
Symptoms:
Transaction logs grow larger and larger, so as a workaround customers may turn them off in Lotus notes -
Resolution
Turning off transaction Logs in Lotus Notes affects the NetVault APM, in that we can no longer run incremental backups. It you are only running full backups, all jobs should continue to backup correctly. If you plan to run incremental backups with the NetVault Lotus Notes APM, you MUST have transaction logs turned on in Lotus Notes. -
