Description:
Some Netware 6.5 SP3 servers crash/abend during backup. This affects some - NOT all - NetWare 6.5 SP3 machines.
Use NetVault.nlm 3.04.07 or higher and upgrade the novell server from service pack 3 to service pack 4.
If the abend/crash conditions continue after the installation of service pack4 this may be due to additonal netware
issues :
the hang condition with MAC files,
the abend in FECovertDirectoryNumber.
Fixes for these issues are available from Novell technical support and are included within
the post SP4 NSS patch.
