Core server reboots unexpectedly and the Repository is offline with error "Could not find a part of the path"
Description
Core server shutdown unexpectedly due to power outage and when came back online, the Core's repository is offline and fails to mount with the following errors:
- The configuration backup has failed. Target location(s): E:\Repository. Error: Could not find a part of the path 'E:\Repository'.
- Data path:'E:\Repository' or Metadata path:'E:\Repository' does not exist or unavailable.
Cause

The letter of the drive where the repository resides may have changed due to an unexpected shutdown event.
Resolution

Solution 1: Fix the repository path
1. On the Core console, go to the 'More' menu and select 'Repositories'
2. Expand the Repository and hit the settings button and select "Fix path"
3. Enter the right drive letter and it 'OK', a repository check should start automatically.
NOTE: Restart the "Quest Rapid Recovery Core Service" service if the repository is failing to be mounted.
Solution 2: Assign the letter the repository drive had before
1. Stop the "Quest Rapid Recovery Core Service" service
2. Open "Disk Management"
3. Right click on the repository drive.
4. Select "Change Drive Letter and Paths…", a new windows is going to open.
5. Hit "Change" and select the letter the repository drive had assigned before.
6. Re-start the "Quest Rapid Recovery Core Service" service.
