Quest recommends using Logical Volume Management (LVM) when configuring the storage locations for your QoreStor data repository and metadata directories. The use of LVM provides for more flexibility than traditional disk partitioning and allows for much easier storage expansion in the future.
Moving Extents to Existing Physical Volumes
