PS module cmdlet Get-CompletedJobs fails to find events when -protectedserver parameter is specified: No jobs of the specified type were found on the core.
Description

Running PowerShell command Get-CompletedJobs with -protectedserver specified, for example Get-CompletedJobs -protectedserver SERVERNAME, fails to find events.

No jobs of the specified type were found on the core.
Cause

Looking at the example above we can see that there is a machine listed under recovery points only with the same name as the protected machine. Since the command is based on display name it cannot display events for recovery points only.
Resolution

To resolve this issue, go to protected machine settings and change the display name.

Once the display name has been changed run the same command with the new name and the events will now be displayed.
