Rapid Recovery Core Interface Continuously Asks For Credentials When Launching It Using The FQDN or IP Address (4043688)

• Accessing the RR WebUI using the server name in any browser installed locally will log you in without asking for credentials.
• Accessing the RR WebUI using the FQDN or IP address in any browser installed locally will prompt for the correct credentials.
• Accessing the RR WebUI using the FQDN or IP address from any other server or workstation in the same domain will prompt for the correct credentials.

When using the FQDN or IP address, the web browser will not automatically send the credentials to connect to the site. This behavior occurs because the OS doesn't recognize the site as an internal site or located in the intranet zone. 

When using the server's name instead of the FQDN or IP address, the web browser automatically sends the credentials of the user logged in Windows. 

In order to modify this browser behavior, please follow these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Go into Settings, then Internet Options. 
3. Click on the Security tab. 
4. Click on the Local Intranet zone.
5. Click on Sites and then add the FQDN or IP address of the server that has RR installed.
   1. In specific Windows versions, clicking on "Sites" will open a new window that will allow you to modify the Local Intranet zone settings.
   2. In this new window, click on Advanced to add the FQDN and IP address of RR to the site list.
