While running backup, this error “Error Message: The transaction does not exist to call rollback on!” is specific to 4.5.0 but it has been reported occurring after upgrade from 4.5.0 to 5.0
The error "The transaction does not exist to call rollback on" generally refers to vRanger having an issue communicating to its database. This issue occurred in vRanger 4.x and still intermittently occurs in vRanger 5.0 but everyone environment is different.
Upgrading to vRanger 5.0 from vRanger 4.x has resolved this issue most of the time. It would be recommended to upgrade to vRanger 5.0 if you are still running vRanger 4.x. If the upgrade does not resolve the issue it is recommended to completely remove vRanger (uninstall) and install a fresh copy of vRanger 5.0
This issue is scheduled to be fixed in vRanger 5.2.x
