Attempting to add a new Agent into protection, Windows or Linux, fails with a Warning
"There are problems with some of the selected machine, shown in the Status column below."
C:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\Installers\Agent-Web.exe
By default, the Agent installer package is located in C:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\Installers\ and named 'Agent-Web.exe'
When adding a new machine into protection, the Core will look for the Agent installer in the path C:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\Installers\.
This name has to be matching the "Agent installer name" value of the Rapid Recovery Core settings.
Set in Core | Settings | Deploy | Agent installer name
If the values does not match, or the Agent installer is missing, the Protection Wizard will not allow adding the system to the Core.
Solution #1
If the Agent-Web.exe is missing in %ProgramFiles%\AppRecovery\Core\Installers\, download the Agent for Windows (web) that matches the Core version from Quest support website or the License Portal.
Alternatively, running a repair installation of the Core will restore any missing file from the original setup.
Solution #2
If the File has been renamed (for example: Agent.exe), update the name of the Agent to Agent.exe in
Core | Settings | Deploy | Agent installer name: Agent.exe
Then, run the Protection Wizard again to protect the new Agent.
