To clear up the inconsistent tape records in the database do the following:
1. Unload tapes from the drives before continuing.
2. In Manage Devices, Click the small gear besides tape library name.
3. Then click Open Door button.
4. Wait until the button changes to Door Close and click Door Close.
5. Allow it to scan all the media again. The tape labels should come back correctly.
If they don't, you could remove the tape library and re-add it back, after doing that operation the library have to read headers of all tapes inside the library, when this is done they should show correctly.
