Process /usr/netvault/bin/nvnoteagent has terminated abnormally -
Description
Intermittently Netvault domino backup is crashing the domino services and requires restart of domino services -
Cause
Currently Nvnoteagent process is handling
1.Domino server communication <--> Lotus Notes API calls
2.Netvault Backup <--> Netvault Backup API calls
The conditions that lead to the abnormal termination of the nvnoteagent process without notifying the Lotus Domino Server have been reduced. This abnormal termination resulted in the following error message on Lotus Domino Server Console: Process <name> (<ID>) has terminated abnormally.However, not all causes have not been eliminated. Resolution
Enhancement request is raised to Investigate the possibility of: Nvnoteagent to be divided in two different processes, one that communicates with the Domino Server and contains the Lotus Notes API calls, and a different process that communicates with NVBU and contains the NVBU API callsTentative inclusion is 13.0 ( Unconfirmed ) , Please verify the Release notes documentation for future release.
