- All vm’s for a particular host are failing
- On this host under licensed Featured,
It will not display the licensed type ( i.e advanced / enterprise etc)
And licensed features will not include “vStorage API’s”

Cause
The Host is running ESXi Free edition.

Resolution
Advise the customer that he must upgrade his vSphere license to a version that support vStorage APIs
