Files are restored with extra characters making them impossible to open (4042631)

Symptoms:
When restoring files backed up from a NetVault server under 8.2.2, to netvault clients under 7.1.2, the files are corrupt.
They cannot be opened as they contain an extra 8-byte character at the begining of the file.

Reason:
This is due to the fact that the NetVault Server and the client targeted are on different NetVault versions, ie different File System plugin version.
Having clients on lower NetVault versions than the server is a supported configuration.
Backing up and restoring from and back to these same clients is not a problem.
The problem arises when relocating such data to other machines on different netvault versions.
