The vRanger will not connect to repository located on Windows 2008 Cluster.
When adding new repository on Windows 2008
Example:
Or
\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\vrangershare
Both configurations will receive same error message:
Error Message: 2254 – Unable to read or write to the repository. Please ensure permissions are correct
vRanger is resolving FQDN to an TCP/IP address to connect to windows CIFS share. Because of changes which were made to W2K8 clusters, vRanger is unable to connect to those shares.

Please use W2K3 clusters until newer release of vRanger software is available which supports W2K8 clustering.
