NetWare thin client backups require OFM to backup files that are in use. (4042545)

Description:
NetWare thin client backups of data that is in-use will complete with warnings if the Open File Manager (OFM) APM is not used. Data in use will not be backed up.

Symptoms:
Warning messages similar to the following will be displayed:
- NDMP Warning: 'Server Specific Info' backup failed (NWSMTSOpenDataSetForBackup): '(TSA500.NLM 5.5 307) A file cannot be opened.' (0xfffdffcc) (l=170)
- NDMP Warning: Error creating 'Server Specific Information' files.
- NDMP Warning: Failed to get system details for ‘[PATH]’ Not backing up trustees for it or its contents.
- NDMP Warning: Path unavailable/too long for ‘[PATH]’. Failed to get extended attributes.
- NDMP Warning: Failed to backup ‘[FILE]’. Failed to open file

The Open File Manager Plugin for Novell Netware APM must be installed. Once this is installed, the NetWare thin client can be backed up even if files are in use.
