Description:
When adding a Tandberg StorageLibrary T40 (and possibly other Tandberg libraries) to NetVault Device Manager, a manual step is required to configure NetVault to use the correct template.
Symptoms:
When adding the library in the Device Management window, the Selected Library defaults to Tandberg SLR autoloader (first Tandberg template).
When adding the library in the Device Management window, you will need to manually select the ‘Tandberg StorageLibrary Tape Library T40’ definition through the 'Type' dropdown box to select the correct template.
If the manual step is not performed, then the library will not function correctly as it is using the SLR template, instead of the T40 template.
