Initial backup was saved to a repository,

At a later time these files where copied to a tape and removed from the repository

End User wishes to restore the VM whose backup files are now on a tape.

Restore the VM’s backup up files (Savepoint) to a folder that can be accessed by the vRanger machine.

1.Open vRanger

2.Go to My jobs

3.Select "On demand jobs"

4.Now click the ADD button (in the top left hand corner) and select "Restore Job"

5.On the Advanced option select "Restore from Savepoint manifest file"

6.Follow the dialog prompts to complete the restore.
