Symptoms:
The database can be seen in the Netvault Backup window but Browsing server for backup gives "SQL Server does not exist or access denied" message in binary log.

The server has either not been registered (within SQL server) or has been registered incorrectly (ie as a named server instead of a (local) server)
Correct the registration within SQL server and the database instance will appear in the Netvault Backup browse window.
