SmartDisk foundation service is stopping when doing deduplication. Staging and Storage volumes are not local to the SmartDisk server. Staging and Storage are located on other servers and are accessed via mapped drive

Due to network latency, it is recommend to move the staging and storage volumes to the SmartDisk server. You can also try, If the staging and storing are located on Windows machine, you can disable the New Technology File System (NTFS) Last Access Update feature, which can reduce disk accesses and increase performance.
