Symptom:
Error occurs when trying to configure your Virtual Library. You will get this error when the directory path for your VDL is incorrect in the ../netvault/config/diskdevices.cfg.
Solution/Workaround/Procedure
In the Netvault directory; ../netvault/config/diskdevices.cfg, verify that the path listed in the file (diskdevice.cfg) actually matches the location where the VDL is.
