The replication job for Exchange servers require this set of files in order to update the libraries on the target Core.
It is possible that these files get removed or not copied appropriately upon adding the agent to replication.
The required files can be obtained from a mounted recovery point or the actual agent.
For Exchange 2010:
- Go to C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\ExchangeLibraries\Exchange2010
- Add the following files to this folder: ese.dll, eseutil.exe, exchmem.dll
For Exchange 2013:
- Go to C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\ExchangeLibraries\Exchange2013
- Add the following files to this folder: ese.dll, eseutil.exe, Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Common.dll
For Exchange 2016:
- Go to C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\ExchangeLibraries\Exchange2016
- Add the following files to this folder: ese.dll, eseutil.exe, Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Common.dll
After these files are copied to their folders, replication should start working normally again.
