When trying to explore Linux machine in Net Vault console giving error unable to get action

When trying to explore Linux machine in NetVault console,  it's giving error unable to get action. Unable to expand the NetVault client while creating the backup selection set.

NetVault Linux client is not installed with appropriate permission. Mask was set incorrectly during the installation.

1. Login to the netvault linux client using SSH.

2. Go to NetVault installation directory. Default location is /usr/netvault.

3. Type "umask" and press enter. Expected output should be 0022.

4. Stop the netvault service.

5. Uninstall the netvault client software completely from the machine.

6. Then Goto the directory where the netvault installable files have been kept after untar the installation files.

7. Type "umask" and the expect output should be 0022 if not then run "umask 0022" command.

8. Then install the netvault client.

9. Go to the netvault installation directory and run the "umask" command and check the value and expected value should be 0022 or 0077.

If still are unable to expand the client in the backup selection set. Then check firewall setting in the backup server and the client. If the client is outside the firewall then make sure you have check the outside firewall box during the client addition to the netvault.

Note: Firewall port settings should be same for backup server and client.
