Summary report fails with 'Unexpected server response (500)' on agents with large number of protected volumes -
Description
A Summary report (scheduled or manually run) will fail to produce the report.
The Rapid Recovery core logs located under C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\Logs will show an error similar to below:
ERROR 2016-04-01T16:24:00 [615] - Replay.Core.Implementation.Reporting.ReportBuilder (Scheduled report 'Daily Summary Report') Preparing report document has failed System.ArgumentException depth 0: Row height should be between 0 and 409. (0x80070057)

Cause
This is a known defect -D-31909.
The defect concerns limitations of cell sizes within the report and consequently for any machine containing a volume name longer than 400 characters there is no ability to create the required cells for all these machines within the summary report. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1Reduce the length of the protected volume to less than 400 characters will ensure the report will work correctly.WORKAROUND 2Remove the agent with the long volume names from the report
STATUSThis is a Rapid Recovery defect. The defect will be fixed in a later release of Rapid Recovery. A patch can be provided upon contacting support. -
