Description

Error: 2760 - FATAL vix_cant_open_detail VIX can't open ["datastore name"] xxxxx.vmdk (Insufficient permissions in the host operating system) [at vddkd_open_internal:544] [at vix_open:341]
Cause

Failed jobs; not able to communicate with the datastore due to insufficient permission
Resolution

This is a possible fix
On vRanger server stop the following services:
- vRanger API service
- vRanger file level service
- vRanger service
Restart the services in the same order (It is imperative that you restart the services in this order):
- vRanger service
- vRanger file level service
- vRanger API service
On vCenter server stop and then start the following service (do not restart the service since it will not completely stop):
- VMware VirtualCenter Server
