TCP/IP Port 10000 has to be opened bidirectionally from the NetVault Server/SmartClient on which the NDMP Plug-in is installed to the NDMP Filer.
Before running each batch file, its important to adjust the path to the executables. Editing batch files can be done with e.g. notepad.
The following path is pre-configured in the batch files:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\NetVault Backup\bin\"
Adding the NDMP Rules:
Run the script "AddNDMP-Rules_WindowsServer.bat" on the NetVault Server/SmartClient on which the NDMP Plug-in is installed.
Removing the NDMP Rules:
Run the script "DeleteNDMP-Rules_WindowsServer.bat" to remove the NDMP Firewall Rules again.
