Windows Client Backup to DR System Failed with Error "Failed to open a RDA connection to 'XXXXXX.XXXXX'. Please review the RDA device details.
Description

The Binary logs show the Following errors:
Failed to open a RDA connection to 'DR System Name'. Please review the RDA device details.
RDA Library error code: 0
DellDRdiags Logs shows the following errors:
\NetVault Backup\bin>delldrdiags.exe --collect
Collecting diagnostics...
ERROR: [ RDA_OPEN_SERVER ] Failed to resolve server host name: "DR System Name" getaddrinfo error:11001 (c000000100000001)
Cause

This occurs when the RDA container is added to NetVault using the DR System Hostname and you have clients might not have a DNS server configured under IPv4 configuration or the DNS server that has been set doesn't have a "A" Record for the DR System.
Resolution

This can be resolved either by adding the "A" record in the DNS server, if the record exist then you can set the DNS server under the IPv4 configuration or add a line with the hostname and IP addess for the DR System on the hosts file located at: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc for each client with the issue described above.
