Description

When attempting to run the nvtrigger command on a linux/unix/aix system when logged on as a user other than root you receive an error message
Failed to activate trigger
When logged on as root the nvtrigger command runs as expected.
Cause

When NetVault was installed the umask for root had been changed to something other than the required 022.
Resolution

1) Uninstall NetVault removing all associated folders and files.
2) Set root umask to 022
3) Run the installer again which should now complete successfully.
